Getting started with Tunedesigner

Details on how to send in your song below!

Step 1: Sending us your rough song idea.

A rough audio recording is fine. If you don't have a rough recording, the easiest way to make one is by using your phone. The Voice Memo app on iPhone is a great place to start.

Video and audio files are usually too big to send by regular email. We recommend using www.wetransfer.com. It's easy and free. We detail how it works in the THIS VIDEO. Please email us the lyrics as well.

Tell us little more about your song by completing our song submission form. It's OK if you don't answer all the questions! We will figure it out together!

Step 2: Personal Consultation

Once I study what you've sent me, I will send you a recording of me talking through the entire song. I might have some additional questions or ideas for you to think about. This is the most important part of the process.

I will take all the time I need to make sure we know exactly what you want.

Step 3: Recording the Soundtrack

This where the fun begins! We schedule a day to record all of the instrumental tracks for your song. The best place to see exactly how we would track your song is on our FACEBOOK PAGE! There is a ton of live tracking sessions there for you to watch!

Step 4: Adding your vocal.

RECORD AT HOME

RECORD AT TUNEDESIGNER

There's a few ways to get the vocal recorded. You can find a local studio near you, record at home, or make the trip to TuneDesigner. If you’re brand new to the recording process then we recommend finding a good local studio near you to record your vocal. A lot of our clients have a home studio and they get great results as well. The most important factor in getting a great vocal recording is making sure you are in a comfortable environment.

Step 4: Final Mix

TUNEDESIGNER VOCAL MIX

Send your vocal back to us for mixing. We’ll need your best vocal take. (A raw 24 bit 48k wav file is best) We’ll tune it and make you sound like a star. We’ll also add background vocals. Watch the video to learn more.
